The Algarve is close to cross country mountain biking heaven. If you like technical rocky routes, head to the South Coast. For epic climbs and descents head to the West Coast. The valleys inland contain hidden, fast, flowing single track that can be hit for a one hour blast or all day epic. You can find all types of surfaces to test and build your skills. There are also peaceful dirt roads if you want to take out the family or potter from cafe to cafe. Oh, and don’t forget the highest sunshine hours in Europe.
